Lisa joined Black Bear Fitness Co. on September 11, 2024, determined to take control of her health.
She began with our Strength and Energy On-Boarding program, rebuilding her strength and learning how to properly fuel her body.
Little by little, she gained confidence, lifted heavier weights, and started feeling good in her body again. Her back pain improved, and for the first time in a long while, she felt strong.
Six weeks in, she took it even further.
Lisa joined my 1-on-1 Mindset & Wellness Program, fully committing to the process.
This program always begins with one key step—building clarity.
Lisa’s goals were clear:
- “Build self-awareness
- Find better ways to manage stress—lasting solutions, not just short-term fixes
- Develop healthier relationships (learning not to take on everyone else’s problems)
- Improve sleep quality, if possible”
Once her goals were set, we gathered data to create a plan that truly worked for her.
Using tools like the Perfect Day Exercise, we mapped out her vision of the person she wanted to become.
We worked through defining her purpose using Simon Sinek’s strategies and various personality assessments.
She began tracking her nutrition, sleep cycles, triggers, and emotional patterns through journaling.
From there, we built strategies to address every opportunity and create real, lasting change.
- She went from working out twice a week to five times a week, staying active even on rest days.
- She went from waking up every night due to menopause-related hot flashes to sleeping deeply and waking up energized. (She tried hormone therapy, but the minor benefits didn’t justify the investment.)
- She built muscle mass, lost body fat, and gained strength.
- She transformed from experiencing chronic back pain to understanding her body better and lifting heavy weights with confidence.
- She changed her relationship with sugar and alcohol, realizing that while she once used alcohol to manage stress, it ultimately made her feel worse. She also recognized how sugar was draining her energy.
- She shifted from feeling stressed and anxious in her business and relationships to having a clear roadmap for her next professional steps and how she wants to help others.
Her mood changed.
More confidence. More certainty.
No longer questioning if she could become the best version of herself—but knowing she already is.
